Shined up the rotary plow last weekend, it was a little bit wet, but not sure if it'll ever dry out.

Aren't they just great !??! Down in SJ where it is nothing but sand you can run them full depth in one pass. Almost a foot deap and almost as wide. I know the adjustment is critical on them. The side to side tilt. Make a wonderfully fluffy soil bed in nothing flat. Almost as much fun as a real tractor and plow. Have you ever seen the bush or "post hole" digger set up. That shaft is almost 30 inches long with the blades. If you dig around enough you can find that shaft at a metal supply. Make an even longer one. Really make your Gravely bark. Best attachment Gravely ever made.

The only problem with the "post hole digger" is when it sticks and you get to try and pull it by hand. I stuck mine in a root once. Ended up backing it out with a 3 foot pipe wrench over the course of an hour or so. Not fun.

When tilling the neighbors garden I clipped two small tree roots and
it just barked and kept going. I guess if they are an inch or more you
are it trouble. My dad did that with the Danuser post hole digger one
time. Unbolt everything and as you said with a couple of really big
pipe wrenches. PTO don't back up. What a back breaking mess.
