Any one familiar with this tractor found one with fairly low hours. not finding much info on them. commnents please, not really interested in mowing with it- will it stand up to a 10in plow or a cultivator?
Owner says it runs, has 3 pt but not on it right now, said mower has issues. $800 firm.
 
That is a good price for a Gravely. They are very rugged machines. You can get all of the parts. Can you post some photos.
 
Don't have any pics but am going to see about it Fri, weather permitting. thanks for the response. Hoping maybe it could replace or compliment a tired old MTD 800series it's been a good one-has hi/lo trans and 7 speed variable, the Gravely is hydro and wanted to be sure it could hold up to ground tools. MTD has 18.5hp twin B&S- Gravely has 25hp Koehler twin according to the owner.
 
I believe the GT 600 came with a 22 hp Kohler...very well built machines but I'm not familiar with the hydro..I only have gear driven Gravelys.
 
hydro part is what concerns me too haven't found much info on that model anywhere yet. tractordata doesnt list it.
 
If you go look at it, see if the filter on the hydro looks like it's ever been changed...a new filter could be good that he kept up with maintaining it,,,or could be bad that he was having problems and tried a cheap fix. Check for leaks and noisy operation. A quick check of the parts list and I see they can be pricey to fix.
