Woods Mower

Hello,
I have some trails in our woods and some small pastures that are hilly that I have been mowing with a 10 year old Cub Cadet LT1045. This riding mower has had issues with the motor and a few other things for the last five years. Can some recommend a good little rider lawn mower that I can ride on hilly ground to mow weeds? It would need to be something that has a good deck, blades, and motor but no frills. Any suggestions?
Thanks

There was a very comprehensive thread on exactly this ....maybe two months ago but under one of the other topic headings. If you can find that you'll have all your answers, it was
very good. Sometimes I have found an old topic faster by typing the question on google and they come up with the thread from yesterdays tractor.

For the last 10 years I have used a Kubota BX1850 with a belly mower and before that I used a Kubota B7100 DSL with a 3 pt hitch Woods 4 ft mower with 3 blades. Each mower the blades can be taken off and easily sharpened.

This is fact but sounds a little crazy. I used to mow the fence rows
with a Snapper rider. They have Very rugged decks with very good air
flow. It really worked well. One of these old machines can be found at
yard sales, etc. Plus they are handy and fun.
