Montgomery Ward recommended lubes

I have a Montgomery Ward PLOW-TRAC that I would like to freshen up the lubes on. What is recommended for oil in the transmission and grease and/or oil for the chain drive and hubs. The chain drive leaked out a lot of oil from the bottom the first time I moved it, but it has grease zerks on top. I have not dug into the chassis very deep yet. I just got the engine running and I pulled the shifter assembly off to free it up. Any help is appreciated.

You may be able to get an owners manual. I have a Wards garden tractor with the 14hp B&S engine made by Gilson. I use 30wt engine oil in the engine. I bought it new in the early 1970's. I would need to search my manuals for the transmission oil and it has hydrostatic drive and lift. It also has a screw on filter. Hal

I have tried to find a manual for it but all I can find are either for other models, or non specific as to which models they are for. I would assume push come to shove a manual for a POWER-TRAC or a HOE-TRAC would list the same basic lube requirements that I need.

There is a guy on e-bay selling manuals for the Plow-Trac Model Mid-W. It goes for about $16 with free shipping. I don't know whether or not that is like your tractor but he has a picture of the cover which shows the tractor so you could probably figure out if it is correct..
