I bought a Ford YT16 at a auction today. Can anyone tell me when it was build serial number is 09 GN 02152. Other numbers are YC 04901, 6826151. Any other help I can get ?

I think that your new purchase has a Briggs & Stratton engine. If so, the first two digits of the engine code from the flywheel shroud (87= 1987) will give you a real good idea of the manufacture date.

I have a model index page for the LT and YT tractors which is dated May 1984. The 16 HP version shows a number of 09GN-2151.
So....I would say yours is probably a 1985 or newer.
BTW GN means it was built by Gilson.
According to my book the Briggs engine Model number should be BS-402707-0138.
I think "casegardentractorparts" steered you in the right direction for pinpointing the exact year.
Does it have a mower deck?
Is it 42" or 48"?
My book shows only a 42" but a few years ago I bought a 48" deck which the prior owner told me came off of a YT-16 tractor. It was in good shape and I was able, with very little modification, make it fit my LGT-18H tractor.

I had it running and drove it around. wiped some grease off and found it's 18 hp. Is this correct or has it been changed?

Sounds like it has been repowered at some point, it was manufactured with a 16 hp engine. My tip regarding the engine code indicating the approximate manufacture date of the tractor would not be valid in that circumstance.
