Where are you guys getting an service Manuel for this unit?
It acts like it seized up. The oil doesn't look terrible. The engine internals don't show anything obvious. Wondering if something on the generator/welder side put a huge load or strain on the engine.

Kohler K series manual is one size fits all for everything between a K91 to a K321. Got mine on E-bay, but they can be bought from any Kohler dealer

What have you opened up so far?

If its on a generator, you may have to separate the generator from the engine to tell which is binding up.

I haven't figured out how to separate the two yet. Advice would be great. A friend and I have removed the head and found the piston to be at the top of the stroke. it had a little wiggle side to side rather than up and down when jerking the fly wheel.
Removed the flywheel and exposed the crankshaft and couldn't find anything obvious their either. Next is to tackle it from the bottom to look at bearings. We are not experts that's why I ordered the book.

It's on the motor side. I believe it ran low on oil. Both the crankshaft and connecting rod are scored after removing cap to connecting rod.
