I have a old hand start A that starts and runs very well. Problem is , it idles great it runs well at high speeds but there is no mid range. move the throttle just a hair and goes from idle to full speed.
Had to a dealer who took apart the governor, installed the 4 new brgs. and checked everything over. Did not see anything wrong.
Had carb rebuilt and tech adjusted every way possible but no better.
Not a average mechanic, the guy is very good with older JD tractors but NOT an excellent 2 cyl mechanic.
I cant imagine him overlooking something in the governor, but your help would be great. Thanks
