Green Machine parts

this is for a friend who doesn't have a computer. He has a 38cc green machine 16" chainsaw UT10945 and he needs a carburator. I checked ebay, amazon, parts places online, only found a $50 carb, that's too much. Was hoping someone here knew a small shop that may have one.

Can only add that UT prefix is usually a Homelite model number. But that doesn't help you get that carburetor any cheaper. Some of those Homelite part numbers are getting to be no longer available.

The other thing is that apparently Green Machine label was put on several different companies products: I worked on a Green Machine once that was a Robin trimmer by another name. I don't think Robin equipment is with us any longer either-they kind of went away about the time when the EPA went to Tier 3 emissions. Though good trimmers they were. . .

Check into a Homelite Carburetor. [b:11594a13fa]#HM-309362001[/b:11594a13fa] and see if it will fit.

If so you can find them for around $30 or less.

Try ebay? I just bought a complete new carb for a Honda GX390 13 hp industrial grade engine on ebay, sold by HL Honda-Stihl parts for $17.95
with free shipping, no tax. Got it yesterday and perfect quality. You may find your carb or may find a cross that fits numerous models including
yours.
