Toro 622 snowblower auger shear pin

Let us talk snowblowers: Sheared a pin on the auger shaft and I've searched the www to find the Ø of the shear pin and length. The unit sat in the sun today and froze so it won't turn for me to determine measurements. Anyone have knowledge for me? Thanks in advance.

Your snow blower may have been built by MTD because MTD built snow blowers for Toro at one time.

If this is pn 321-10 bolt you're looking for several repair forums are reporting same is 1/4"x2",also oem bolt is listed as a grade 5,several sites recommend replaceing with a grade 2/3 to protect gear box.

The auger shear pin/bolt is part number Toro 321-11. The size of them are 3/16" x 2 1/8".

I can buy 3/16" x 2" grade two bolts from the local hardware store for .35 cents each with a washer and nut. When I buy them for my Craftsman blower I usually buy 10 at a time since they are so cheap and keep them and two short wrenches in an old cloth Crown Royal bag hanging on the blower for quick repairs when needed.

Use the correct thing! Number two bolt with little grooves cut into
the bolt so they break. Bolts are cheep and that little transmission
is over a Hundred bucks. Your choice.
