1872 cub cadet had leak

My neighbor brought a Cub Cadet 1872 down to look at. It has a hydraulic leak that is leaking out of the front seal and both top vents[caps]. It's leaking out of the seal like a sieve. I'm afraid just replacing the seal won't fix the problem.Has anyone seen this problem before?

Both the front Input Shaft Seal and the Relief Valves can be replaced relatively easily. It is not uncommon to see leaks like this in tractors 30+ yrs old.
