Good evening, I have 2 old wheel horses I restored 4 years ago for the grandsons to ride. The larger one is a B100 that I have a grass dethacher on, today while using it the shift lever came out. It will go back in but won't stay anyone knowledgeable on these? Thanks Steve

Look like this? There's a setscrew that holds it in
place....

Thanks Ray,
I guess I didn't see the set screw because I was looking in from the back. What do I do now to get the bottom ball on the shifter to engage what it's suppose to inside the gear box? I can feel with my finger inside the gear box where it drops into but it's not engaging and the top ball is down in the case where it should be for the Allen screw to hold it. When it came out in the yard yesterday I was able to put it in a gear to get to the garage after taking the shifter in and out a dozen or so times. I've been fooling with it for an hour this morning and can't hit the sweet spot. It goes in all the way but no gears. I've tried rocking it back and forth and lifting the shifter up down at the same time with no luck. Any help is would be great. Thanks

Got it Ray I looked at your pic closer and saw the hole in the ball, I was allowing it to drop in to far thinking the set screw went over top of the ball. Thanks again

Glad you finally got it....I've never worked on a
Wheelhorse but do have an extensive library on
repair of older lawn tractors. Most of my hands-
on experiences are with Gravely and Cub Cadet.
