Quick Springfield mower

I have an old Quick Springfield mower made by defunct Quick Company of Springfield Ohio. I have had this mower since the early 60's and need some information. I think it is a 1955 model. I have most of the factory booklet that came with it, but all the pertinent numbers are gone. So, I don't know the model, serial, nor year for sure. I can tell you this, it is a small mower, 24" cut, 3.5 horse, red with yellow handle bars and seat, and a red cowl in front the covers the front of the engine and the handle bars running up through it. Primarily, what I need is the sizes of the 3 belts that operate it. Thanks for info.. Ron..e-mail: [email protected]

Got the e-mail and I do believe that mine is one of the models you have. The 54" and 19" belt are readable on my owners booklet. The one that was missing was the 33 inch. I thank you for the response. I find it amazing how much information is on this yt site..

Attached is a Springfield ad from 1957.

Way back in the late 60s I knew a person with one very much like that machine. They were such little toys compaired to what we use now. Today if you ride on a Snapper people laugh at you. "can't afford a real machine"? When I was a kid I used to mow a whole acher of lawn with a Haunn Rocket reel mower! How times change!
