John Deere X-540 stalling

I've got a 2010 X-540 (26 horsepower Kawasaki engine) that I'm having trouble with. Some days it will run just fine, but on other days it will keep stalling. Sometimes it will start right back up and run the rest of the day with no problem. Other times it will continue to die at irregular intervals. It might start right back up, or it might take 5 or 10 minutes of cranking / messing around with it to get it going again. I've made sure that the vent in the gas cap is open, changed the fuel pump, and replaced the solenoid on the carburetor. It's hard to tell if the problem is heat related, but I don't really think so. I'm also not sure if the problem is electrical or fuel related. Any ideas about fixing this?

I forgot to mention that sometimes, but not often, if I hit the choke just as it is beginning to die, it will keep on running. This makes me think that it's fuel related, but I'm not sure.

It does sound fuel related if choking will improve it. Might try replacing the fuel lines, sometimes the inside will collapse, restrict the flow, release chunks of rubber.

There was a similar problem on here last week, turned out to be over full of oil, was affecting the impulse pump.

I have been using Seafoam in it, with no noticeable difference. I've also checked the gas tank, just to make sure that there was nothing in it that shouldn't be. I've changed the fuel filter - the old one didn't look dirty and the new one still looks good. I'll try putting new fuel lines on, and report back here.
