Working on a troybilt horse pto model. Rebuilt the tine attachment. Replaced both clutches. Now the main pto clutch ( not the tiller attachment) throws the retaining snap ring and clutch key off the shaft and then of course the tine assembly wont turn. I cant figure out what is causing the snap ring and key to come loose. Maybe the engage lever throwing the clutch too far bumping the retaining ring off??? Help?? Ideas?? Thanks.
