I'm attempting to get a 1942 Model N Briggs running again. It is in great condition internally, valves, cylinder, piston, etc.
The gas tank however is toast. Tried to unscrew the cap and the top of the tank broke away.
Any ideas on where a tank like this can be found?
Its a suction tube type with the gas line attached to the top with the drop tube inside.
I need the tank and fittings and internal suction tube.
The tank measures approx. 7" x 4.5" x 2.25" high.
