I bought this tractor in poor shape and got it back up and going..some of the electrical gremlins were due to the bezel in the pod being broke and exposed to the weather..one of which was the pod would go dead or lose power while machine was running...with a quick off and on of the key switch it would come back on for a cpl min or so..same thing if I pulled the key and dash related fuse and put it back in...so I thought this was one of the gremlins and ordered a new pod...installed the new one tonight and it does the same thing..will time out for lack of a better term after anywhere from 1 min to 3 minutes..any ideas where to start?..thanks for any replies

If you can access the back of the gauges or pull the assembly out while it's still connected, you should be able to find the power feed to the gauges.

Since they all fail at the same time, I would assume there is a common feed and common ground. It is loosing either the power or the ground.

Once you find these 2 wires, follow them to their source. Pay close attention to the ground, that is a common problem with mystery electrical failures.

If you check the voltage coming to the gauges (when they are working) and find there is less than battery voltage, say around 9 volts, look for a voltage regulator. (There may or may not be a regulator, don't know about your exact model.) This is separate from the charging system regulator. It provides a regulated voltage to the instruments only, if equipped.
