All kinds of electricals

When my Pro master 200 just died while mowing, I discovered it was a 30 amp fuse. I replaced the fuse and the mower started but the PTO will not engage. Is this somehow connected to the fuse going out?

In certain cases the pto clutch could be the cause of the fuse blowing. A shorted winding in a pto clutch can draw too many amps and cause the fuse to blow. Resistance should be between 2.5 and 5 ohms.

Also a non working charging system can cause a fuse to blow., so could be 2 unrelated problems.

Thanks for the tip. I'll check the wiring to the PTO clutch tomorrow.
