Case 444 Lovejoy coupler

I've got my 444 apart for paint and repairs. The spider that is in the Lovejoy coupler says L075 and appears to be to small for the 2 pieces of the joint. Does anyone know what size the spider should be. Maybe an L095 I'm taking it all apart because the hippie I bought it from said he just overhauled it. When it wouldn't start, I found he only put the carb on finger tight so it was sucking air instead of a mixture and he bolted the engine down with carriage bolts. I wonder what else he forgot to tighten.

The ends of the spider "legs" should be flush with the outside of the coupling.

Here is a link to their catalog. You can look around in there and find the dimensions. There are also different durometers for the spiders, from soft rubber to hard plastic.
