Ariens HT 16 steering wheel removal.

I got the roll pin out, but the steering wheel will not budge. Any suggestions?

I was hoping someone who had experience with that model would speak up.
If it was me, soak it with your favorite penetrating oil for several days.

If it is not splined it should eventually loosen up so you can turn it back and forth then start working it up the shaft.

If its splined you will have to rig some kind of puller.
If the wheel is sealed in plastic, you are kinda limited how rough you can get.

If its a bare metal hub, a gear puller and heat would be options.
There may be some ideas on Youtube for pulling steering wheels that may work.

Last year I tried to remove the steering wheel from my S 16 H. Soaked it with pen oil used puller & would not move , started messing up plastic on bottom of wheel so just worked around taking off wheel.
