Cadet front tire.

I have a 1200 cadet with a leak in a front tire. I got a tube for it but can't break the beads on the tire. I tried to use my 20 ton press but that didn't do it. Any ideas would be nice, Thanks Al

I do recall changing some rear tires on a mower that were a real bear and I used the tractor disk. I just kept turning the tire/wheel and dropping the disk on it with one disk blade as close as I could to the bead. It eventually moved.

I don;t know what kind of tire dealer you have but the one we have would do it for $10.00 if you have the tube . I can't see messing around for several when they can do it in 15 minutes.

I don't mess with them. I leave the tubes out, I Slime the small leaks, and plug the bigger leaks with the plug kit from Wally World. Works for me on all my Cubs, Troy-Bilts, Massey Fergusone, Farmall's, etc.
