LT 155 John Deere hydrostatic problem

Son in law stopped his LT 155 to have a tire repaired. It was working fine before he stopped it to have the tire
repaired. He pulled out the free wheeling knob to roll it into garage. When he put the tire back on and pushed
the free wheeling knob back in and started it, the tractor will not move in forward or reverse. Any suggestions?

Must have lost the key from the axle if they removed the wheel to repair the tire. It will not pull itself with a missing or sheared key.

Yes, that is what I would check for first, if a tire was repaired.

Called him this morning and told him about the key. He was not looking for it and it had indeed fallen out. Thanks. Gene
