Ford 100 transaxle pulley

I just bought a beautiful Ford 100 that I finally have running good and the first time I take it out to test it and it throws the transaxle drive belt. I pulled the wheel and put the belt back on and it did the same thing. It works great if you are going in a straight line or straight up or down a hill but any uneven ground and it throws it. I took the pulley off and the part number is 218013 it is the singe pulley and it has a crack in it. The shaft does have a very small amount of play in it so that might have something to do with it as well?? Either way I will need a new pulley and maybe even a rebuild kit for that shaft??

Anybody know where I can get a pulley??

And what are your thoughts about what is causing this??

There is another guy just a few posts down looking for that same pulley.
If your pulley is only cracked, it can be welded.
They are not readily available....I thought I had one laying around but I can't seem to put my hands on it.
Your real problem is probably the belt retainer stud, not the pulley.
It may either be missing or not adjusted properly.
Like many V-belt systems, there is a bolt or rod that sits close to the pulley and prevents the belt from "jumping" out of its groove.
In the case of the Ford 100, it is simply a bent rod threaded on one end that can be loosened and turned to move it closer to or further away from the pulley. The part number is JAC-313283 but, according to the 1982 parts list is no longer serviced.
I guess just about everything for those tractors is now "no longer serviced". LOL
It can easily be made from either 5/16" or 3/8" rod....I can't remember which.
