Case 155 - Mower Deck Model ?

I have a Case 155, that is in need of a good used deck to put under it. I can't remember what model deck will fit under it. I thought it was a N series, or possibly a J series. I found a couple of those models for sale, but want to be sure I get the right one. Also found a L80 snowcaster I believe, and am wondering if that would fit on my Case 220. Tractor is the 2 tone model.

The E Series deck is correct for the 155. The H thru N decks are all for the Snap Fast tractors that began in 1971. Good luck finding an E-Series deck in good condition.

The L-80 will work on your 220 providing your 220 has the Snap Fast pins on the front of the frame.

Thanks for the info Tom, I'll have to see about an E series, sure glad I asked first. My 220 does have the pins on front. Is the L 80 the latest version snowcaster, thought the higher letter meant the latest series I could get.

H, J, K, L, M, N, P, R and S are the various Snap Fast Series for snow casters. They are all very similar. Just minor changes triggered the change in the Series designation. I would not worry about which Series you are buying. The only major change had to do with how the drive chain was adjusted and that is not a big deal one way or the other. Drive chains are cheap. You can afford to install a brand new one every year, if need be.
