On a carb with a choke cable, there is often a small fitting in the choke arm that has a screw to secure the cable and allow the choke to operate freely. I mean the solid part of the cable, not the outer covering. This piece goes in the choke arm that operates the shaft. I don't know what it's called, but they come up missing all the time. Anyone know where and what to look for?

GOOGLE "Throttle cable ferrule" or "Throttle cable set screw end".

B0b I hope you done good. I read his question and thought it might be the same thing for his cable. Hope or two thoughts are correct.

That's the sucker! Thank you!

(quoted from post at 10:25:01 05/20/16) Google Solderless nipple and all will be revealed.

Thanks Ray, but "solderless nipple" appears to be a UK term for a US throttle cable screw end.
