Thanks for all the responses on sourcing parts. Got everything coming. Was at an auction yesterday and low-and-behold there was a LGT 165 what I considered a parts tractor there. It was definitely an air cooled Kohler. It had the starter side of the engine broken out. Thought I would try to get it for parts. Only thing really good on it was the deck, everything else other than the drive train was broken, bent, flat, or missing. Thought it would sell for $50.00 or less. Noooooo, $250.00! Couldn't believe it. Asked the guy who bought it if he was going to part it out (I wanted a couple small parts). He said no way, he was going to restore it.

Well any way, I'm looking for a 3 point hitch assembly. Let me know if anyone has one for sale.

Some people seem to think these are Rare and Collectable machines but Ive found several in running condition for $300 or less, just had to be patient. Around here 30-40 years ago there was Ford equipment dealerships in every second little farming town so theres actually alot of old Ford GTs around but they are Rarely found in Good Condition and if you have one you need to Collect three more for parts.
