I have an MTD brand tiller I am trying to find some information about. I would like to know what it fits and how it is suppose to hook up? I believe the drive shaft is suppose to be longer and mount ether to the middle or front of a garden tractor.

I am purdy sure that tiller is for the 990 series MTD tractors? I remember they drove with a similar shaft anyway.

It might be an MTD 960/990 unit with some user modifications... the upright 'Y' arm that attaches to the upper control link should be a single flat bar. I cant read the model # in the pic but I have the manual for the mid 70s MTD tiller, possible model #s are...

Yeah I modified it and tried to make it fit the back of my Bolens G174 tractor the 'Y' was all ready their and I sold the tractor the other day. Now I need to get rid of the attachments. I have two sears plows a turning plow and a middle plow and the tiller. Any idea what the tiller and plows might be worth? Here are some pic's of the plows.

If there happens to be somebody in your area that needs them you might get a few dollars but around here attachments alone dont sell well. I often pick them up as freebies and throw them in with tractors that Im selling. Ive seen tillers advertised as high as $200 but the ad could run for months, if you actually want to sell it then advertise it for $50, and $25 for the plows.
