kohler carb.

Is there a source for a carb for a kohler command 12,5 for 1320 cub cadet? The part # as listed in the parts manual is KH- 12 85301. I don't know if it is worth fixing this od mower but it is a challenge to make these old machines run like they are supposed to. I soaked the carb and put a kit in it but it still runs lean and is reluctant to start. Thanks.

Is it sucking air around the butterfly shaft. When the housing gets worn it lets air in around the shaft.

Not familiar with that model, but have you lapped and adjusted the valves?

If it's been sitting for a long time with gas in the carb. They get so plugged up you need a new one. Kohler dealer should be able to get one. It will be pricey. I asked about a Kohler carb last week. Kohler wanted $202.00

If this is on a John Deere machine. You have to go through Deere.

Thanks for the feed back.Itis running better I think soundguy has the answer. I hope the sea foam and a few hours will clean it out. I ground the valves and the carb seems physically in good shape. I mowed with it yesterday but it still seems to be running lean. I don't know the history on the machine but hope there is some life in the old girl yet!
