Case 446 Carb rebuild kit

I have a 1985 Case with an Onan engine which has a Nikki carb on it. Had it running for a while but now it will only start if I choke it good but let the choke off and it only runs a couple of seconds. I need to take that carb apart and get all the dirt out of it.
The question is, where can I find a carb kit for a Nikki carb??

Hope that the Onan tag is still on the engine. Use that number and call your nearest Cummins distribuitor. (I use Cummins Atlantic in Charlotte NC) They can get you a carburetor kit.

There is also a good Onan parts website online.

Be sitting down when they tell you how much $. It was over $100 6 or 7 years ago. And don't let them overnight it to you unless you are in a BIG Hurry.

Don't remember what carb. is on my Wheel Horse p220 Onan. About a year ago I wanted to clean it and the top was stuck and ripped the gasket, dealer said it was $190 something, included 1 o ring, top and bottom gasket and float needle only. I declined and traced the old gasket on gskt. paper and cut it out with my gskt. punch set. Works perfectly since.

Try using a Briggs & Stratton external fuel pump, the last gasket kit
I got for Onan was $55 it was just gaskets and fuel pump diaphragm
got it at Cummins dealer

If your tractor uses the 146-0657 kit there is usually some OEM kits on Ebay for around $60 which is about 1/3 of the price of same kit at Cummins
