Kohler won't run without choke

Suddenly while cutting grass my sears mower stopped running, unless you choke it. It is a Kohler 15.5 hp CV15s. The carb bowl is full,and I took it apart and cleaned it and made sure the jet was clear and the
fuel solenoid was operating. Any ideas?

If that carburetor has a main jet adjustment screw you need to open it. Hal

If it runs o.k. with the choke feathered in, you are starving for fuel somewhere. Usually in the carburetor, but could be anywhere in the system from the fuel tank outlet to the filter, to the pump to the carburetor. It also could possibly be the tank vent.
