Cub Cadet hydraulic add on system

At a swap meet today I bought a Cub Cadet hydraulic system. The one that bolts to the side of the frame and is driven by the pulley on the back of the engine. I will be putting it on a model 100 and it looks like it will bolt right on and I have the rod that goes across the tractor for the lift mechanism that goes with it. Does anybody know about these, what fluid? Any thing to watch out for that you wouldn't normally think of? Tips from those who know these? I am still working on this trator and probably won't put it on now until I get the rest of the tractor done and going, then it will be a "extra" putting this on. In the meantime anything I can learn about it will help. Thanks, Tom

They are a handy unit to have, especially if you are not found of the "Armstrong" method. I use the recommended IH/Cub Cadet Hy-Tran, as the fluid.
