Found this little guy last weekend and it just looked too handy to leave behind I did have to order a new banana plate and linkage and I am looking for new rear agg tires but for the age of it that's not too bad.

That is a nice find because it appears to be both original and complete. It appears to be a 1972 or 1973 CASE 644 with the optional 3 point hitch and rear PTO kit. New Ag tires are not to be had but I see nothing wrong with what is on the tractor. What you need more than anything is a full set or set and 1/2 of D10 cast iron wheel weights. Unfortunately, those are much in demand and often bring 100 dollars per plate and you need six plates ideally. In addition, loading the tires with Rimguard would be a good idea. If you can find a factory weight box designed for the 3 point hitch, that too will help immensely with finding good traction for loader work.

I would also suggest that you drain all of the cylinders as well as the reservoir in order to remove the maximum amount of the old hydraulic oil. Refill with 15W40 motor oil or if you are in a warm climate, go with 20W50 from any reputable oil manufacturer. The Kohler K needs to be fed a steady diet of straight grade 30 weight detergent base motor oil and change it every 25 hours max.

What a beauty of a toy. That little tiller and the hydraulic system that goes with it is a pile of bucks. Tom will fill you in on where ever you need to go. We are just green!

Greetings, There is a place here in Denver, Colorado that for 50 + years has sold little tires and wheels, also casters or any other small rolling thing you can think of. The name is LITTLE WHEEL AND TIRE CO. the phone is : 303-935-1972. I'm sure the have or can get the tires you need. They had all the tires for my Wards Squire 12 tractor. Good Luck!!!

Thank You all for the replies and suggestions I really appreciate them coming from such a great group of people. I should mention I did receive a factory weight box and a bucket top extension for snow and to My delight the previous owner not only had the original operators manual and the original Kohler shop manual but in 2009 He went through casegardentractors.com and ordered all the hydraulic service and repair manuals. I don't think I have to tell You all what I looked like when they showed Me that big binder- Yup I felt like a kid in a candy store to say the least.
