Wheelhorse Snow Plow mounting

I just bought a plow for my 312-6 1991 Wheelhorse. It is from an older model Tractor, and appears to be complete. Does anyone have a manual or other literature showing the mounting procedure? If anything can be posted on here it would be a great help. Thanks--

If you have all the parts it can be mounted in 10 minutes or less. Mine's still mounted, I'll take a picture later. Do you have the latch that mounts on the rear axle? , that can be an expensive piece to find at atleast on Ebay.

Gab, no I do not have any brackets on the ends of the plow frame. It just has about a 1/2 in. rod thru the frame from side to side at the wheels end. The lever to rotate and lift are there and the cable to pull the rotating pin. I am trying to figure out how it attaches to the lift brackets under the Tractor. I have the mower lift brackets under the center, but I can't see how the plow frame attaches to that. Any literature or photos available for this plow and mounting on various Tractors.? I would guess not a separate plow frame was built for all the tractor models. Thanks for any help---

Picture of latch on axle and of a spare. 64 inches from the pivot bolt at blade to the bar that it latches to at the rear axle.

Lost a couple, there's some adjustments behind the panel with the decal. Think your tractor should be the same wheel base as this one. Post a picture of your blade.

Gab, Thanks so much! That's exactly what I needed. My blade looks the same as yours. Serial# tag on plow shows
model # 6 2132 serial# 76544. Some of the decals are still there, was surprised to find the Serial # tag. Only thing missing was that rear mtg. brkt. It sure is nice to post on this site and get answers to your questions. Good people out there yet!! Would you have any idea how old this plow is based on the # ? Thanks again, Joe

Gab, your Tractor looks like new! I have wanted to touch mine up a bit, but could not find out what paint to use. Now that I have the blade, I would like to paint the mower deck and blade. What paint/color or Mfg. is correct? Thanks Joe

Try a bigger Toro dealer for spray cans, old or new color, don't remember which is which. The only thing I painted on the 520 with the blade is the foot rests, wax went along way on the rest. Be careful, a 1966 wheel horse got me started on this junk.

According to mod# you gave your blade was made in 75,also gab is correct about checking with local toro dealer as to paint color/shade,toro pn 361-1 apple red paint is for tractors before 90,after 90 paint is pn 361-10 new red,see if dealer can get qt cans for thinning/spraying,12oz spray cans from dealer VERY expensive, also check on ebay.Don't expect an exact match due to different paint lot#'s & 25 yrs of sun fade.

Thanks for the info-- A very nice bunch of Tractors ! I even see 1 good one in the bunch, Green & Yellow. I have 3 old 2- cyl. grew up with them. I am in Northeast corner of Ohio, had a little snow this morning. Very helpful info, thanks---
