My Dad bought this sometime around 1949 - 1950. The builder's plate had the manufacturer name sheared off before application, so I'm assuming it was a department store re-brand. My suspicion would be it was from the T. Eaton Company, as Eaton's was the biggest department/mail order store in Canada at the time and my mother did work for them back then. It did not have a "type" listed but says it's a Model 30 with serial #1128 It had a 3 or 3&1/2 HP Briggs with rectangular gas tank, B.F.Goodrich Silvertown Hi-Cleat 6:00-12 tires, flat-bar handles with X-brace and no reverse. It was orange (as far back as I can remember anyways) with green or teal wheels. If anyone can identify thisI would appreciate it.
