My Tecumseh HH100 needs overhauled. seems oversized pistons are not available. What does someone use to overbore and use as a replacement piston. Are the HH120 ect. pistons bigger? I haven't been able to find any specs on the HH120 ect. Thanks...

Depending on the os piston set you need you can usually find .010/.020 oem/aftermarket piston sets on ebay or google tecumseh +pn of os piston set & see if any online dealers listing same,the .030/.040 sets have been nla for close to 20 yrs.

The bore for the hh100 is 3 5/16",hh120 bore is 3 1/2",I've had 3 hh100 eng rebored & used std hh120 pistons that I bought on ebay,both oem & aftermarket,whatever was avail at a reasonable price.

Have crank rod journal checked for wear to see if you need a new rod or crank,also have valve guides checked to see if you need os valves.
