Unknown Walk-behind

My Dad bought this sometime around 1949 - 1950. The builder's plate had the manufacturer name sheared off before application, so I'm assuming it was a department store re-brand. My suspicion would be it was from the T. Eaton Company, as Eaton's was the biggest department/mail order store in Canada at the time and my mother did work for them back then. It did not have a "type" listed but says it's a Model 30 with serial #1128 It had a 3 or 3&1/2 HP Briggs with rectangular gas tank, B.F.Goodrich Silvertown Hi-Cleat 6:00-12 tires, flat-bar handles with X-brace and no reverse. It was orange (as far back as I can remember anyways) with green or teal wheels. If anyone can identify thisI would appreciate it.

I had a Viking G garden tractor on steel that I paid $15.00 for it.

When I sold the Viking I kept the old moldboard plow for my Wards
tractor. Hal

Thanks for getting that to post Kris! Further investigation of this machine revealed that the wheels had yellow paint under the green/teal color - not that it will likely help much in identifying it...

Post a picture of your tractor. The handle bars were different on my Viking G than on the Standard Twin and the Standard came with a 10 inch plow and it would pull it easily. I never saw a Viking Twin in this area, ne Maryland. Hal
