Here are pictures of the cub original I was curious about. I believe that is a Kohler engine? My brother and I had it running several years ago.

That is definitely a Cub Cadet Original tractor. The CCO rolled out of the Factory with a Kohler K-161, 7 HP engine.

This is my original. 61 model with rebuilt oem 7 hp. Looks and runs like new. Couldn't likely get what I have in parts and paint much less a profit. Don't really care since I have no intention to ever sell it. Point is there just isn't much money in parts or complete tractors.

Hi, Prices on that kind of stuff has come waaay down as interest in it and the ecomomy fades. Sorry but I dont see much value in what you have there but like they said in your other post the location has some bearing on values. I wouldn't know values 3 states away. There are MANY cubcadets around here and a bunch of them for sale. A unit like that would be in the $150 range on it's best day and could bring as little as $50. Engine alone?, not much unless somebody has an immediate need for it or some part of it. Get it running so a buyer can hear it then its worth goes up many times. The rear PTO has some value but not much really, the high priced part of the rear PTO is the reduction and reversing gear box that you do not have. I know there are advertised prices much higher than what I am suggesting but you always have to ask yourself did it sell? and for what price???
