O.K. here's what I have ... I have a Case 444 w/3pt and the sleeve to hook up the tiller ..

What I need is , on a moldboard plow { I got one but no way to hook up } I need the measurements of
the pc. that hooks the plow to the sleeve ... if someone has one and would like to sell it ... I'm interested

I think if I had some good measurements I could make one ....

The SLEEVE is simple to make and you do not need any measurements. Two pieces of 1/4 inch thick angle iron, six or so inches long is all you need. Lay one on the top of the hitch adapter and the other one covers the underside to make a channel. Choose angle iron with the appropriate sizes to all the two pieces to be butt welded together. Leave a 1/4 inch space to make it easy to slip the channel over the sleeve hitch adapter. Drill some 5/8" holes and then weld what you made to the mouldboard plough. Proper drop pins are available at TSC or other similar stores. You need some bolts and nuts for your adapter. You put the nuts on the fully threaded bolts first and then thread the bolts into the back side of the adapter. Once the plough is mounted, then you hand snug the bolts up to the newly made channel and leave 1/16th of an inch before tightening down the lock nuts. This should be a one time setting and it should be easy to insert and pull the drop pins. The bolts are there to take up excess slack and keep the plough from wandering around.

Tom ,
Thanks .. but what about the flat iron that goes to the plow .. it has 2 holes in it { a least the ones I seen on the computer does .. I suppose to adjust the plow angle ?? } also how long is that flat iron ??

THANKS .............. mark

Mark, Click on the link below. That should answer many of your questions. Your hitch has two important adjustments. The TOP LINK screws in and out and that will tilt the plough forward and rearward. The right side lift rod is threaded and it will raise and lower the right lift arm, which will tilt the plow back straight again when your right tire is in the first furrow. If you have a quality plough like the Brinley, then it will have a crank adjustment on it that helps to set the depth of the furrow. You should be able to drop the plough onto the ground, put the Lift Lever into FLOAT and drive forward. If the plough is set up properly, it will enter the soil to one half the claimed width of the plough and cut a uniform depth furrow until you lift it up at the end of the run.
