They made both single and two stage blowers....yours is, of course, the two stage which is much more sought after.
It fits Jacobsen and the Jacobsen built Fords as well as the rare White, Oliver and Minneapolis-Molines from '72 to about '85 or so.
You are missing a lot of the important mounting and driving parts which will probably be darned near impossible to get now.
Are those other parts lying around somewhere by any slim chance?
I am attaching a parts diagram to help in identification just in case you might have these parts lying in your iron pile.
The only thing I think I have lying around here for it is the right-angle gear box.
If complete with all its pieces, I think the value will be as much as $400 or so.
These two stage work well with the 14 and 16 HP tractors but the 12 HP tractors are a little underpowered. The blower is very heavy so a weight box on the back of the tractor and chains are imperative.

There is a Ford Garden tractor site over on Yahoo but I haven't been there in a long while.
They have a great number of very knowledgeable guys over there.
I think you have to join to post but you will certainly reach the most Ford guys there.
I would guess you will find somebody there that can use just what you have.

thanks for the help Brian, I have decided to send it to the bone pile,, no one is interested and I cannot find the attaching parts, it can go with the 165 LGT I have as well, it has a tiller and a dozer no one near me is interested,, tired of it sitting around thanks again, sad to junk though as I uncrated this 165 and set it up for the man I got it from

nct[/quote]ow, if that's a Ford Tiller, then the LGT-165 must have the rear PTO accessory with the shaft that runs from the front engine clutch back alongside the frame to the rear.
There are many who would pay good money for the tiller if it comes with the rear PTO system.
It fits nearly all of the LGT series Jake made tractors from '72 to about '85 or so.[/color:405efa2ea6]

yes it does have it, but I am in NE Wyoming, not many want to come this far I also have at least one FORD hub cap for it, maybe two

That's a shame....if you lived within a couple of hundred miles, I might be tempted. As much as I do want to check out Wyoming sometime, I can't do it right now.
The Yahoo Ford site will probably be your best bet....there must be a diehard Ford guy somewhere within driving distance that needs that tiller and PTO.

Do you have just this blower or a tiller and tractor as well?

Do you still have the snowblower? or have you sent it to the bone pile?

Yes I still have the blower, I also have the tractor tiller and dozer blade for it as well, I also have the FORD dump trailer but am keeping it, I may go ahead and fix the 165 as I have a brand new short block for it,, I am open to offers though

I'd offer you $30 for what's left of the snow blower if it can stay with you till I can find somebody haul it back from Wyoming.

thanks for the offer, I may build something with it,, I have that in it, the gear box to me is worth that, I am always re purposing things

Would agree, but I don't see a gear box on it in the picture, so looking at it as a "heading to the scrap" and trying to save it's final value.
