I mounted the snowblower up over the weekend and find that it will run all the time the tractor is running. I haven't had this tractor running a snowblower in quite some time. Mower works like it should but the blower no mater what I do runs constantly. I did put put something in the augur to hold it stopped before starting it and it didn't turn with out issue. I rebuilt the clutch this past spring, ran the tractor with the mower on it through this fall and this is now the first time putting this back on in 3-4 years.
Can it be that the clutch is again bad? I adjusted it like I read in the booklet using a piece of cardboard the thickness of a match book cover as I did with the mower earlier in the year. Is this an issue other that I think safety? Should I run this like this and if so will I hurt anything?
Tractor is a Cub 124 and the blower a QA42. Thanks guys any help would be great.
