17 hp kohler command series 1 carb

wanting to know if a 17 hp kohler command twin cylinder carburator will work on a 18 hp kohler magnum engine . thanks

Well, nobody has answered and I don't know for sure but the carb on my series 2 17 HP Kohler sure looks like the one on my Magnum 18. I don't know why the carb on a series 1 would be different from that on a series 2 since the major difference in the two engines is the high pressure oil system on the series 2.

It looks like you have your Kohler engine series mixed up.

Kohler had the KT series which their was a KT-17 Series I & II. I have no knowledge of the Command series having a 17 let alone a series I & II.

SO.........if you are asking will a Carb from a KT-17 will fit on a Kohler M-18.......the answer is YES.
