Only since the 70's????? You need to exercise some patience, Tom.

Congratulations. That DD unit looks to be in near mint condition. I don't think that it has seen much use. The old White Series from Brinly-Hardy are....IMO... built better than the later Black implements that are still being produced today. I agree that finding a 3 point DD unit these days could be considered RARE even though lots of them were sold. But many of them were used until they were worn out and ended up at the scrap yard.

You will need a front counter-weight if you intend to use it.

Congrats Case Nutty, yes they have to be rare I've not seen one for sale here in MN, yours looks to be in good shape, are you going to give it a try this fall yet or is it too late?

That's a COOL find!

Some years ago, I bought a NOS Brinly sleeve hitch cultivator still in the wood crate held together with wire (as they did "back in the day") off of ebay.

It's still in the crate, I've never been able to bring myself to take it out, assembly it and get it dirty!

It's a twin to the one in the photo below.

have one been in shed for years never used it are they worth anything cause this unit never been used. always had big rear tin e snapper tiller out fit that we used.

ZTR,
IF.... you have an original set of Brinly-Hardy double discs for a CAT 0 three point hitch with white frames and black discs, then in my opinion they should bring $400.00 without too much trouble. Of course, condition, condition, condition always matters. In this instance, the total lack of rust along with discs that are not damaged, are rust free and good bearings would be the sort of condition that would command top dollar.

I have two more weights from high rear rears to put on my weight rack,, but first I have to buy a 3pt hitch for this 444, so it will be next year before I get to use it,, this one has been well greased and seems to have but a few hours of use from the wear I see at the top link pin holes, should be a fun item to use in the garden when I use the Brinley plow,, thanks for all the comments guys,, I have heard some crazy prices given for these,,
