I purchased a LGT 195 last week. The engine has been replaced with a Kohler Command 25 HP V-twin which runs good. This tractor would have been shipped with a Kohler K532 19.9 HP flat-twin. I would be interested in comments on how the V-twin compares to the flat-twin relative to idle smoothness, ease of starting, problems, etc. I will not be using the tractor for heavy mowing so the extra HP of the V-twin is not a big deal for me.
These tractors were made from 1978 to 1980 however, I have not been able to find a year built versus serial number listing. my S/N is 2010.
