have honda gx 390 with metric drain plug in base. want to extend it 2" so oil does not slobber everywhere. where can i get metric threaded pipe with cap
 
Try the link below. All you really need is an adapter fitting that will take you from the metric hole in the Honda to 1/4 inch NPT so you can easily find the length of pipe along with whatever additional fittings you need.

Since everyone else has the same problem it has been made easy for us. I have these on most of my Hondas (see the link). costs a bit of money but so does one fitting from a hydraulic supply house.

I went to O'Reilly's and had them make up a small-diameter 6" long flexible hydraulic hose, with fitting on one end and I added a drain valve on the other end. When I get back around to it and get it screwed in I think it will solve all those problems.
 
that type setup goes on every new unit before goes out the door,make the length as needed per mower. i always use hose (no long pipes for drains,those can cause issues also.)
