I bought a new carburetor and fuel pump but still having the same problem, tractor runs but im getting to much fuel,it shoots fuel out the top of the carburetor, anyone have any suggestions

Look at valves and ignition, if your valves are weak or not set right the compression pushes the fuel/air mixture back out the intake, if it's sparking at the
wrong time it can do similar things. When the old Kohler K series engines started spitting out the intake it was probably time to think about doing points.
Throwing parts at equipment gets expensive, do some more diagnostics before buying parts. In this case are you getting raw fuel out the tail pipe? Was it running
rich before it quit? Is the tail pipe all black and full of soot? If you pull the fuel line BEFORE you try to start it and crank it over while spraying a little
go-go juice in the intake does it attempt to run? Is it running hot?

the 6100 number on the nikki onan carb means nothing.
we need the 146-0xxx number from the carb.
you do not state what fuel pump you purchased,
if it is electric, it may have too much pressure.
thank you. boomer ( the used onan engine parts guy, also NOS and new )
