starter on 782D

Has anyone taken a starter off of a 782D. If so can u tell me how u did it. It looks like you have to take the engine mounting plate off but i took the two bolts out and it wont come loose. Thanks for any help. Ed

I took one off a 1782 which is basically the same.Ended up pretty much destroying the old
worn out starter then cut a notch in the engine mount so the ear of the new starter would
slide into place.That slot saves about 4 hrs when replacing the starter on the Kubota diesel.
