Simplicity Broadmoar

I have an old, 15 years, Bradmoar that barely moves when warmed up. Is it hard to fix this? I use it now to blow snow, so have some time to get it right, if advisable.

What have you checked so far? Is it a worn out belt?

If its the transmission, assuming it is a hydrostatoc transmission, can you change the fluid? That's about the only cheap thing you can do to a transmission. If its non-serviceable, it can get spendy in a hurry. And it might be best to look for another transmission.

$400 is a lot to spend on this pretty old machine. Motor is good though. Anyone have a hydrostat trans for a Broadmoar that they want to get rid of?
