Hello all-
Im trying to find information on my Excello riding mower...
I saw some talk about them from many years ago.
Im looking for a contact for Roger Heineke.
He may be connected with the family of the manufacturer...

Thanks !

Jay-
Thanks for the reply...
This is a regular mower with a 24" blade-
There is one justlike it on u-tube. ( the only one I have seen, thus far )
Like mine, it is completly bombed out..
I have taken mine apart, sandblasted it , and Im in the prosess of restoring it , in a
"good enough for who its for ( me ) " way...
I would like to know the history of these riders.

Thanks, Tracy

Tracy,

I found the video on YouTube.....I've never seen one before.

At first glance, I thought it may have been a re-badged Fairbanks-Morse, as they made one very similar. But, they are not the same at all.

It's a very cool looking piece.

I did some research and found a few original ads from 1957, 1958, and 1959.

Send me an email, and I'll email you back with the ads.

Jay

PS. Does your Excello have the wire mesh seat? If so, I have a few riders in my collection with that same seat. Very few manufacturers used them, and they were only sold for a few years....approximately late 50's - 1960.

The Excello does have the mesh seat. Which is shot.
Im going to fabricate a temporary seat till I figure out how to replicate the original
style.
That mesh will be a challenge...

I have a Excello with the mesh seat. I was wondering what it would be worth if I wanted to sell.
