I think I've made the final trip to my local 'Cub Cadet' (MTD) dealer. $10 for an IH/CCC-style fuse holder and $4.75 for a fuse! Insane. Probably costing the chinese about 25 cents to make them.

I would be more upset with Cub Cadet (MTD) the corporation as opposed to the local dealer. He is only passing on the pricing he had to pay for buying their high priced parts.

Use the (Cub Cadet) web site for parts. I been buying parts off their having them shipped directly to the door step.

Stopped by a JD dealer last year and bought a couple of Buss fuses for $1.50 each. I told the guy at the counter they were going into an IH tractor. He laughed and said they would probably make it run better :)

You can go to Radio Shack if you still have one nearby. They cost less than that. I put 10 amp slow blows in my CUB for the lites.
