JD112 vs JD 110

i just picked up a JD112 with round renders and a pan seat on a flat spring mount. What differentiates it from a JD with styled fenders?

Quite a bit. The round fender 112 is similar to the round fender 110 except for the Tecumseh HH 100 engine in the 112. The square fender 110 will have the Kohler K-181 like the round fender 110 but the square fender uses a wider frame and was the first model to use the front and rear quick attachment system that John Deere continued through the 200 series and the closed frame 300 (models 300, 314, 316K and 317) series. The square fender 112 could have the Tecumseh HH 100 or a Kohler K301 depending on model year.
