Used JD lawn tractor parts

I need some parts for my LX 176. Somewhere I have a list of places that sell used lawn mower parts, but haven't found it yet. I need the pulley that drives the hydrostat and the plastic fan on top of pulley. I know there is a place in central Illinois but can't find contact info. Thanks, Chris

FWIW, the pulley, AM126129, is about $40 from DEERE and the fan, M110320, is about $6.

If you have a dealer nearby and can avoid shipping on the new parts you would have to get used ones pretty darned cheap (including shipping) to make going the used route worthwhile.

I have a JD LX 176 with a bad motor. I could take the parts off but I agree with Bob that the new ones are not that high a price and most of the used ones will have worn splines just like your does did. I am assuming it stripped the splines out. The used parts would be half new price so you would save maybe $20-25 but the used pulley may not last very long.

For the labor to replace the pulley I would install new parts. You remove the fender deck, then the fuel tank, loosen the spring loaded belt tensioner, and remove a snap ring off the top of the pulley. Not hard but not fun either.

Here is a funny one. A fellow has a USED fan #M110320 for sale on Ebay for the bargain price of $25 OBO. LOL SIX BUCKS NEW OEM!!!! LOL
